Wireless Construction Manager

DTREDS has an immediate need for Wireless Construction Managers in the following markets: Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, West Virginia, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Indiana. The CM should have strong ethical and safety standards with the ability to deliver on-time, high quality cellular tower sites.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


The Construction Manager will be responsible for perfoming site walks and site acquisition, creating project trackers, providing support to site acquisition leads, and ensuring that crews meet deliverables. In addition, the CM will be responsible for the following:


Estimating job costs, schedules, and level of effort required to perform defined tasks


Developing and maintaining a method and document for tracking project status, project team locations, and project progress from start until closure


Ensuring tower foremen and technicians perform duties as assigned, meet schedule, and perform within project budgets


Mentoring and training tower foremen, technicians, and apprentices by teaching safe and standard procedures to complete tasks


Directly interfacing with the customer regarding mutual commitment to the scope of work and schedules


Directing and managing tower foremen as required


Directing and managing crews to complete work in a timely and efficient manner


Developing and completing all required paperwork (Schedules, Material Inventory and Disposition, Daily Reports, Timesheets, Expense Reports)


Ensuring and maintaining a safe work environment with the highest commitment to work integrity and ethics


Ensuring safety standards and procedures are adhered to by all personnel, including the daily inspection of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE)


Read, decipher, and interpret engineering drawings, technical installation documents, and test data (sweeps) as required


Must be able to work overtime to include Saturdays, Sundays, and evening hours.


Education and Experience:


Minimum high school diploma or GED


Proficiency with a personal computer, the internet, and MS Office applications


Seven (7) years minimum tower construction / climbing / managing experience preferred


Five (5) years minimum managing tower and telecommunications construction crews preferred


Cellular tower site experience preferred


Certifications and Licenses:


Connector and RET certified


Tower Climbing and Rescue certified


First Aid and CPR certified


Anritsu certified


PIMS experienced, certification preferred


Valid driver's license


Ability to pass a drug test


Ability to pass a background check

Tower Work Foreman

The foreman should have strong ethical and safety standards with the ability to coach and mentor team members to deliver on-time, high quality cellular tower sites.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


The Tower Work Foreman will be responsible for the following:


Directing and managing crew leads as required to meet project schedules and budgets


Directing and managing crews to complete work in a timely and efficient manner


Developing and completing all required paperwork (Schedules, Material Inventory and Disposition, Daily Reports, Timesheets, Expense Reports)


Ensuring and maintaining a safe work environment with the highest commitment to work integrity and ethics


Ensuring safety standards and procedures are adhered to by all personnel, including the daily inspection of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE)

Climb, build, and service all tower types: Guyed, Self-Supporting, Monopole, and Rooftop


Must be able to work overtime to include Saturdays, Sundays, and evening hours.


Education and Experience:


Minimum high school diploma or GED


Proficiency with a personal computer, the internet, and MS Office applications


Five (5) years minimum tower construction / climbing experience preferred


Two (2) years minimum managing tower crews preferred


Cellular tower site experience preferred


Certifications and Licenses:

Tower Apprentice

DTREDS has an immediate need for Tower Apprentices in the following markets: Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, West Virginia, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Indiana. The Tower Apprentice will be responsible for performing construction duties on a daily basis to ensure quality contruction and expedited commercial deployment of services as directed by the Superintendent and/or Foreman.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


The Tower Apprentice will be responsible for the following:


Basic ground labor with minimum tower tasks


Distribute, pick-up and organize tools/materials


Work with foreman to analyze job requirements such as labor and materials


Complete work in a timely and efficient manner as delegated by foreman


Run errands as directed

Work with foreman to maintain a safe job site


Maintain safety barriers


Must be able to work overtime to include Saturdays, Sundays, and evening hours.


Education and Experience:


Minimum high school diploma or GED


One (1) year minimum tower construction / climbing experience preferred

Cellular tower site experience preferred


Certifications and Licenses:


Basic First Aid and CPR


Preferred passing score on N.A.T.E. "Tower Climbers Exam"


Valid driver's license


Ability to pass a drug test

Quality Control Technician

The Quality Control Technician primary duty is to maintain a high level of quality throughout a project lifecycle. This person will be responsible for establishing, developing, and maintaining quality control process and documentation on assigned projects, develop quality plans for specific projects, and work with the QA/QC manager to establish company quality metrics.
